Ulysse Gautreau of Foyer St-Thomas (formerly of Gautreau Village) passed away at his residence on Monday September 11, 2006 at the age of 75.

Born in Pré-d'en-Haut, he was the son of the late Edouard Gautreau and the late Rose-Anne LeBlanc. He was a Mechanic for McDonald Pontiac Buick until his retirement. He was a member of the Golden Age Club of Pré-d'en-Haut.

He is survived by his wife Rita (Gaudet) Gautreau; one daughter, Diane (Fernand) Richard of Pré-d'en-Haut; one son, Gilles (Rachel) Gautreau of Pré-d'en-Haut; one sister, Rita (late René) Bourgeois of Springfield, MA; seven brothers, Armand (Lorraine) Gautreau of Moncton, Clément (Corinne) Gautreau and Gérard (Anita) Gautreau both of Pré-d'en-Haut, Léandre (Cécile) Gautreau of Fox Creek, Francis (Maria) Gautreau of Pré-d'en-Haut, Ronald (Antoinette) Gautreau of La Hêtrière, Eric (Célestina) Gautreau of Fox Creek; two grandchildren, Jérémie and Nicolas; and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Florine; and by two brothers, Irois and Aldoria.

Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home and the Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut on Wednesday September 13 at 7:00 pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
